PSG Goalkeeper Letellier and Family Targeted in Knife-Wielding Home Invasion near Paris at 2 AM

Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Alexandre Letellier and his family faced a terrifying ordeal when knife-wielding burglars reportedly attacked their home on Monday night. The 33-year-old goalkeeper, along with his wife Chloe and their two children aged six and two, encountered four assailants demanding money and jewelry.

During the raid, Letellier's wife was struck in the face, as per a report by RMC Sport in France. The family was alerted by alarms around 2 am after the burglars breached their property in Yvelines, near Paris, by entering their garden. Despite promptly calling the police, the criminals had already broken into their home and threatened them at knifepoint.
Fortunately, the police arrived swiftly, apprehending three of the four culprits—a 21-year-old adult and two 16-year-old minors. They were taken into police custody by the Versailles judicial police. A police officer sustained a knee injury during the arrest.
At the crime scene, a knife was discovered, and stolen items from the house were found in the possession of the suspects. Letellier, PSG's third-choice goalkeeper behind Gianluigi Donnarumma and Keylor Navas, joined the French champions from Orleans in 2020. Since then, he has made only two appearances for the team. Letellier initiated his career at the Parc des Princes and has also played for the French club Angers.
