Creative director Virginie Viard, known for her previous shows in Les Baux-de-Provence and Monte Carlo, sees the multicultural and historically connected Marseille as an exciting destination. While the French Riviera remains a natural choice, Marseille's edgier reputation and appeal to creatives and designers make it an intriguing stop for Chanel.
