Complete display of the Concrete Sector showcased at GIC 2024

GIC 2024, Europe’s foremost concrete exhibition slated for April at Piacenza Expo in Italy, is poised to outshine its 2022 counterpart with robust stand sales and backing from over 60 trade associations. With new highlights such as the Italian Demolition & Recycling Awards and a dedicated tower cranes conference, the event promises enhanced value for attendees, serving as a comprehensive hub for the concrete sector.

Scheduled for April 18-20th at Piacenza Expo, GIC 2024 is anticipated to draw a larger, more diverse crowd than ever before, spotlighting materials, equipment, and technologies across the concrete spectrum. Beyond production, it will cover the entire concrete lifecycle, from extraction to recycling. Exhibitors will showcase a wide array of products, including batching plants, conveyors, crushers, and tower cranes, among others.
Acknowledging the growing emphasis on sustainability, GIC 2024 will introduce the Italian Demolition & Recycling Awards, alongside the Italian Concrete Technology Awards. Furthermore, a new demo area will allow exhibitors to showcase their machinery in an interactive setting, while a dedicated tower cranes conference will underscore their pivotal role in concrete projects.
The event will also feature conferences on runway construction and maintenance, attracting industry leaders. Fabio Potestà, Director of Mediapoint & Exhibitions, underscores the aim to enhance GIC's reputation as a premier networking platform and technology showcase within the concrete sector.
With strong stand sales indicating growing momentum, GIC 2024 is poised to surpass its previous edition, despite challenges posed by COVID. Backed by the success of GIS 2023, the largest event organized by Mediapoint & Exhibitions, GIC promises a focused and rewarding experience for exhibitors and visitors alike.
Potestà expresses optimism about GIC's fifth edition, citing its specialized format and enhanced returns for participants. He anticipates GIC 2024 to be the most successful yet, building on its established reputation in the industry.
