Prince Ernst August Jr. and Princess Ekaterina Welcome Baby Girl, Princess Margarita
Congratulations are in order for Prince Ernst August Jr. and Princess Ekaterina of Hanover, who have announced the arrival of their fourth child, a baby girl, on Wednesday.
The royal bundle of joy was born at the Third Order Hospital in Munich and has been named Princess Margarita. The proud parents shared the delightful news with the German publication Bunte.
The couple already have three children: Princess Elisabeth, six, Prince Welf August, five, and Princess Eleonora, two.
Prince Ernst is thought to work in the banking industry, while Princess Ekaterina, 38, runs her own fashion brand, EKAT, which she established in 2013 after studying at the London College of Fashion. The family of six is believed to reside in Austria.
The couple had a private wedding celebration on July 6, following their legal marriage two days prior. Their festivities included a luncheon at the historic Herrenhäuser Gardens and an evening reception at Marienburg Castle.
Ekaterina looked stunning in a custom hand-embroidered Chantilly lace gown with pearl details by Lebanese designer Sandra Mansour.
While Princess Caroline, Ernst’s stepmother, was absent, her daughter Princess Alexandra served as a bridesmaid. Other attendees included Prince Christian of Hanover and his fiancée, Alessandra de Osma, as well as Andrea Casiraghi and his wife, Tatiana Santo Domingo, who attended with their children Charlotte and Pierre, dressed as a pageboy and flower girl in outfits by Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece. Princess Olympia of Greece, Princess Elisabeth von Thurn und Taxis, and Lauren Santo Domingo were also present.
