Music with a View Festival's Palermo Debut: Rilke Quartet Concert at Villa Niscemi

The first stop of the Musica con Vista festival will take place in Palermo on Wednesday, July 10, at Villa Niscemi. This marks the fifth edition of the national classical music festival, organized by the Amur Committee in collaboration with major Italian concert organizations and supported by Poste Italiane. The evening, starting at 9 pm, will feature the Rilke Quartet, comprising Giulia Gambaro and Martina Verna on violins, Giulietta Bianca Bondio on viola, and Federica Colombo on cello.

The quartet will perform classical string quartet pieces by composers ranging from Haydn to Schumann in the enchanting setting of an English botanical garden. The event is organized by the Sicilian Friends of Music Association, which has been curating the festival for several years and is celebrating its centennial this year, having been founded on June 22, 1925.

Musica con Vista will continue its journey across Italy until September 21, offering a unique musical exploration of the country’s hidden gems. The festival aims to promote tourism and cultural inclusion by showcasing Italy’s fascinating villages, historic buildings, and cultural sites through music.
