Cagliari Climbs Out of Serie A's Bottom Spot with Victory Over Parma

Cagliari secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Parma on Monday, lifting them off the bottom of Serie A. The Sardinian club began the match in last place, being one of only two teams without a win, but with this win, they advanced to 16th place.

Cagliari displayed resilience, refusing to falter even when Parma equalized twice. They started the match strongly, taking the lead in the 34th minute. The Parma defense struggled to clear the ball, allowing Angolan winger Zito Luvumbo to deliver a cross that Nadir Zortea headed home without challenge.

Parma equalized in the 62nd minute when Woyo Coulibaly showcased his skill on the left wing, cutting back for Dennis Man to score confidently.

Romanian midfielder Marin came on for Luvumbo in the 73rd minute and just two minutes later, he put Cagliari back in front. Michel Adopo surged forward from midfield, setting up Marin at the edge of the box, and he curled a stunning shot into the far corner from 20 meters out.
