New Agreement Secures Italian GP at Monza Through 2031.

The Italian Grand Prix will remain at Monza until at least 2031 after the track signed a six-year extension to its current deal. This follows significant modernization efforts completed just in time for the 2024 race.

F1 President Stefano Domenicali emphasized Monza's historical importance, noting its unique atmosphere as thousands of tifosi gather to support Ferrari and the drivers. The track has benefited from Italian government funding to meet modern facility standards.

Angelo Sticchi Damiani, president of the Automobile Club d'Italia, acknowledged Monza's legendary status but also pointed out that continuing to meet modern F1 standards, particularly in hospitality, is the next challenge.

Monza, which first hosted the Italian Grand Prix in 1922, has staged the race every year since 1950, except for 1980 when it underwent renovations.
