Sweden's Effort to Become the First Country to Eliminate HPV: Here's How

Sweden is intensifying its efforts to become the first country in the world to eliminate human papillomavirus (HPV), a group of viruses linked to cervical cancer in women and penile and anal cancers in men.

Cervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer among women globally, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).
