Milan Completes Permanent Transfer Deal for Bondo with Monza, Zeroli to Join on Loan
Milan has reached an agreement with Monza for the permanent transfer of Bondo, with the deal reportedly valued at around €10m plus €2m in bonuses and add-ons, according to Matteo Moretto. This transfer marks a significant move for Milan as they strengthen their squad while offloading the talented midfielder to their Serie A counterparts.
Meanwhile, Sky Sport Italia updates reveal that Italy U20 midfielder Kevin Zeroli is set to join Monza on loan to fill the gap left by Bondo's departure. Zeroli, who has shown promise in Milan's youth setup, will be hoping to gain valuable first-team experience with Monza in Serie A.
It’s been a busy conclusion to the January transfer window for the Rossoneri. Earlier this week, they confirmed the signing of Santiago Gimenez from Feyenoord, adding depth to their attacking options. Summer signing Alvaro Morata has since moved to Galatasaray in a deal that marks the end of his short spell in Milan. Kyle Walker, another key addition to the squad, made the switch from Manchester City earlier in January, bringing experience and versatility to the defense. Joao Felix is also expected to join from Chelsea, further bolstering Milan’s forward line.
Off the pitch, Milan has seen some departures. Davide Calabria has left the club, with potential further changes expected before the transfer window closes. Bennacer’s potential move away from the club has been the subject of speculation, with a final decision expected by 23:00 GMT. There had also been rumors surrounding the possible exits of Fikayo Tomori and a loan move for Francesco Camarda, but those talks have since quieted down as Milan looks to finalize its squad for the remainder of the season.
