Budapest Welcomes Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez Set to Dazzle Sold-Out Crowd in Budapest for the First Time
Jennifer Lopez is finally bringing her long-awaited performance to Hungary, fulfilling a dream for thousands of fans. On Sunday night, the global superstar will take the stage at the MVM Dome in Budapest for the very first time, playing to a sold-out audience.
Lopez arrived in the Hungarian capital on Saturday afternoon via private jet, having performed in Tenerife the previous night. Her arrival at Liszt Ferenc International Airport was kept tightly under wraps, with a fleet of luxury black vehicles whisking her and her entourage into the city.
The Budapest concert is part of her “This Is Me… Now: The Tour”, a 34-day European and Asian tour featuring 20 performances in cities including Bucharest and Warsaw. The event is organized by Green Stage Production, which began negotiations with Lopez’s team in 2020. Originally scheduled years earlier, the concert was postponed due to the pandemic and is finally taking place this summer.

Local excitement for the show is sky-high. According to Világgazdaság, all general admission and lower-tier seated tickets sold out well in advance. VIP meet-and-greet packages — priced at a staggering 610,000 forints — were quickly snapped up. Unfortunately, this overwhelming demand has also led to a rise in counterfeit tickets. Organizers have issued a warning to fans, urging them to purchase only through official vendors like Green Stage and Evetnim.
Adding a special Hungarian touch to the evening, Lopez will be staying hydrated with Chernel natural spring water from Vas County — a premium mineral water once favored by Empress Maria Theresa. The selection was made through a blind tasting arranged by the event organizers.
According to Blikk, Lopez landed in Budapest around noon Saturday. She was met by four black luxury vehicles and taken to a luxury hotel on the Buda side, though her exact location remains undisclosed. Sources suggest she may have rehearsed shortly after her arrival, with a final dress rehearsal scheduled ahead of Sunday’s 8 p.m. showtime.
Her team, including technical and support staff, arrived in Budapest days earlier to finalize preparations. Based on recent performances, fans can expect a spectacular production — complete with bold costumes, high-energy choreography, and Lopez in top vocal and physical form. All signs point to a truly unforgettable night in Budapest.
