Cochrane Colloquium 2026 Heads to Kraków, Poland

The 2026 Cochrane Colloquium will convene in Kraków, Poland, from 8–10 December 2026, with Satellite Meetings taking place on 7 December. Hosted at the ICE Kraków Congress Centre—one of Europe’s premier venues for international scientific gatherings—the event marks a significant moment for evidence-informed healthcare in Central and Eastern Europe.

This year’s programme centres on five key themes: transitioning from static reviews to a learning and living evidence ecosystem; the role of responsible AI in evidence synthesis; advancing equity, co-production, inclusiveness and partnerships; methods innovation for contextualised living evidence; and strategies for overcoming distrust in evidence.

Cochrane Poland Director Ma?gorzata Bala and her team will host the global gathering. “The 2026 Colloquium will provide space to reflect, connect, and collectively explore how evidence can best respond to emerging challenges and opportunities while remaining rigorous, transparent, inclusive and trusted,” Bala said. “We look forward to welcoming you to Kraków in December.”

Abstract submissions open in early February, inviting contributions from across the evidence synthesis community. Attendees can expect plenary sessions, workshops, poster presentations and networking events set within one of Europe’s most historic and culturally vibrant cities. Further details—including the full programme and registration—will be announced in the coming weeks.
