Spanning 95,000 square meters and extending approximately 360 meters into the western apron, the new pier is a centerpiece of Munich Airport's strategy to better manage passenger flows and reduce congestion. The facility is expected to unlock additional transit capacity for three to six million passengers annually.
Operationally, the pier will support simultaneous departures and arrivals for up to 12 narrow- or mid-body jets, or six wide-body aircraft in scheduled service.
